I was looking for a lantern to set on my table under my covered deck. We went to Lowes and Home Depot, but could not find anything that was for outdoor use that was capable of putting off the subtle light that we wanted that wasn't huge!

This lantern has fit the bill at only about 9 inches tall, looks really cool and is brighter than I thought it would be. Looks like weathered metal and glass and is dimmable. Glad I bought it!

This lantern is of metal construction, with a glass (not plastic) globe. It looks like it was an actual oil or kerosene lantern which, for some reason, was retro-fitted or re-purposed for use with white LEDs & electronics.
